Meetings & Groups that use our premises

The following is a list of all organisations and church groups that use our premises. Contact details are provided only by those groups that have given permission to be in our website. If you are a group that uses our premises and would like to be added to this list (or details require changing), please email us, and we would be glad to do so.

 
CHURCH/ELDERS MEETINGS

Elders Meetings: Monthly except August and December.
 
Church Meetings: Our Church Meeting is held every two months immediately after the service on the 4th Sunday of that month. The meeting usually begins with a buffet lunch for everyone. Non-members are welcome to attend and speak.Sunday bimonthly (January, March, May, July, September, November)

HOUSE GROUPS

Various sessions – At different times, we have held a series of house groups based on bible studies of various topics, which everyone is welcome to attend. We also hold Elders Quiet Days in conjunction with the other churches in the Group. Please contact the Church Secretary for more information.

GUIDES - 7th Shirley (Freemantle URC) Guide Unit

We are an active Guide unit (part of Girlguiding UK) for 10 to 14 year old girls. Who meet on Thursday evenings in term time. To join contact Anna Pettman on 80 630889 or apettman@gmail.com.

Southampton Sunday Lunch Project

The Lunch project (Registered Charity 1040275). An ecumenical project offering a free lunch each Sunday to people who are homeless, alone, etc from 12pm to 1.30pm. We are funded by donations and all staff are volunteers. We always need volunteers to work on a 7 week rota. If you'd like to volunteer please call Stella Haig on telephone number 01489 786398.
